MY STORY

Like many entrepreneurs, I started with a dream. For me, it was to bring ideas to life that could transform organizations and help leaders succeed. Early in my career, I worked in Fortune 500 companies and consulting firms, experiencing firsthand the challenges and complexities of scaling businesses. But it was during a pivotal moment—leading my own venture to a successful Private Equity acquisition—that I truly understood the power of aligning strategy, execution, and leadership.
In 2012, I co-founded Tip of the Spear Ventures and the Javelin Institute with similar missions to help organizations scale. What began as a venture firm and executive education center respectively has evolved into multi-faceted businesses offering executive coaching, consulting, and M&A advisory services. Over the years, I’ve worked with 127,000+ leaders at all levels—from startups and SMBs to enterprise executives—helping them navigate challenges and seize growth opportunities.
My approach combines a deep understanding of business strategy with the practical tools leaders need to succeed. Whether I’m coaching an executive on leadership alignment or advising on a complex merger, my goal is always the same: to empower organizations to grow in a way that’s sustainable and impactful.
Today, I spend my time writing, speaking, and working with organizations to unlock their full potential. When I’m not consulting or speaking, you’ll find me mentoring other nonprofit leaders, volunteering in my community, or enjoying time with my family (My true happy place ;)
